Cowry creates groundbreaking kitchen design app leveraging AI and Big Data to the advantage of the construction and …

Cowry Cabinets, a manufacturer and dealer of high-quality cabinetry, is launching an ingenious app that will allow users to shop for, design and purchase a kitchen all through one easy-to-use, smart AI platform. Cowry’s goal is simple: extend the benefits of AI and Big Data to the renovation industry, and in the process, provide its customers with an easier, more affordable way to design and build kitchens.

The AI Kitchen Designer app delivers on this goal in three key ways:

Patented Advanced Intelligent Design Software – The design process is simplified to the extent that anybody from a first-time renovator to a no-nonsense contractor could download the app and design a kitchen in a matter of minutes. It’s as easy as entering your space measurements and selecting your cabinet and hardware styles. Cowry’s 3D rendering technology will use this information to instantly generate a visual representation of your kitchen design.

Easy Process from Design to Assembly – Once you’ve ordered your kitchen through the app, your cabinetry will be conveniently shipped from Cowry’s local Richmond warehouse within 24 hours and arrive pre-made and ready for easy assembly. Whether you’re installing your cabinets yourself, or a contractor is doing it for you, the process is painless following Cowry’s simple step-by-step instructions.

Unbeatable Prices for Premium Quality – By ordering your kitchen directly through the Cowry app, you will get prices as low as $999 USD for a standard 10’x10′ kitchen. That’s less than you would pay for a sectional sofa. In addition to the money you will save by designing your kitchen yourself, these types of prices will make kitchen renovations affordable even for those on the tightest budget — without sacrificing on quality.

We have seen how drastically new technologies have changed other industries, and today, Cowry is spearheading that change in the kitchen construction business. The AI Kitchen Designer is the first of its kind in an industry where, up until now, the only option has been to spend time and resources on a designer and a dealer. Cowry’s vision is to develop the app into a professional kitchen shopping platform where users can go to purchase products from hundreds of kitchen suppliers. Suppliers will in turn benefit from this arrangement, by saving on marketing expenses and operating costs. In this way, Cowry will provide the most affordable and diverse selection of kitchen products on the market — all in one place.

Through this business model and the company’s strategy of cooperation with local service suppliers across North America, Cowry is building a brand-new ecosystem which encompasses the kitchen renovation process from end-to-end and has the potential for exponential growth.

Simple ways to de-clutter pots and pans

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The key to being a happy chef starts with a serene and well-ordered kitchen.

Kitchens are one of the places that clutter often creeps in, leaving a chef feeling cramped and uninspired. A simple plan to re-evaluate pots and pans will help streamline cookware and save space. Certified Professional Organizer Miriam Ortiz y Pino shares helpful tips for both advanced and casual kitchen afficiandos:

  1. To maximize space, designate a spot for each item of cookware, then hold it with a lid as a place holder when the pan is in use.

2. To avoid duplicate cookware, think of size and shape – pick your favorite material for the job you will do with any one piece and eliminate the others.

Home Goods to join Marshalls in combo store in Burlington Township

BURLINGTON TWP. — HomeGoods will join an existing Marshalls to create a combination store in Liberty Square Shopping Center, bringing 15 new jobs later this month.

The two stores issued a joint news release announcing a June 28 grand re-opening. Marshalls has remained open during the interior modification.

Following the remodel, the combo store will have a common entrance with two distinct store environments on either side of the 36,275-square-foot building, allowing customers the convenience of shopping both stores. The two retailers are owned by the same company.

HomeGoods spokeswoman Lisa Zahn said 15 additional full-and part-time positions will be filled with the arrival of HomeGoods.

Job applications for sales and other positions are available inside what is now Marshalls.

“We are so happy that we are able to add a HomeGoods to offer the Burlington community the latest home trends at a great value,” said Zahn.

“The new Marshalls and HomeGoods combo store will offer one-stop shopping for top-quality designer fashion, plus distinctive home fashions at incredible prices.”

The HomeGoods name already has been added to the Marshalls sign in the shopping center at 2200 Mount Holly Road.

Zahn said both brands will continue to carry the usual merchandise and inventory.

Marshalls carries designer and brand names in ladies’ fashion, shoes, accessories, men’s apparel, juniors, kids’ apparel and accessories, luggage and beauty products, and has new items arriving every week, as does HomeGoods.

HomeGoods advertises discounted home interior products, including furnishings, gourmet kitchen and dining items, linens, outdoor living, pet accessories, storage containers and more.

TJX Companies Inc. owns both Marshalls and HomeGoods as well as TJ Maxx, Sierra Trading Post and Homesense. TJX calls itself the leading off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the U.S. and worldwide.

The combo store is in the same shopping center as Walmart, sandwiched between two large vacant stores formerly occupied by an Acme Market and a recently closed Toys R Us.

Walt Corter, Burlington Township administrator, said he is glad to see the addition of Home Goods because it offers more merchandise to attract residents and other customers.

Now’s your chance to get All-Clad cookware at an incredible price

— Our editors review and recommend products to help you buy the stuff you need. If you make a purchase by clicking one of our links, we may earn a small share of the revenue. However, our picks and opinions are independent from USA TODAY’s newsroom and any business incentives.

All-Clad is one of the brands that, when they hold a sale, people lose their minds. While we found other cookware brands that perform better, there’s no doubt that All-Clad is one of the best money can buy.

However, that reliability often comes with a hefty price tag. But during All-Clad’s Factory Seconds VIP Sales, you can find steep discounts that make it much easier to upgrade your cookware. You’ll need to use the code ACJVIP18 to access the sale and start shopping.

The discounts you’ll find in these sales, which only happen a few times a year, are always impressive. We’re particularly into this 9-inch stainless/nonstick frying pan, which is only $50 right now compared to the full price of $115. There are lots of pots and pans available for similar discounts. And if you’re in the market for prep accessories like mixing bowls and kitchen shears, All-Clad’s got you covered too.

But wait! What does “factory seconds” mean? Basically, these are the products that couldn’t be sold at full price due to minor imperfections like surface scratches and dents. If you want your new cookware to look flawless, this might not be the sale for you. But pots, pans, and the like will get these kinds of marks through normal use anyway, so if you can look past the surface, you can score some amazing deals on new high-end cookware.

Use the code ACJVIP187 to access the All-Clad Factory Seconds VIP Sale

Prices are accurate at the time of publication, but may change over time.

Cowry applies AI and Big Data technology to the advantage of the home improvement industry

The benefits are as diverse as the possibilities these new forms of technology present. We’ve seen these possibilities in action with the advent of advanced speech recognition software, natural language generation, machine learning, and cyber defense — to name a few. Yet these technologies have yet to be applied to the booming industries of construction and renovation.

Big names in the home improvement industry like Ikea, and more recently Wayfair, have released apps that allow users to shop their catalog of products and plan their living spaces. However, these apps do nothing to address actual design processes. Such a platform would require a level of technological sophistication that could only be achieved by leveraging large amounts of historical kitchen design data, in other words “Big Data”, in conjunction with artificial intelligence software.

The Future of Home Improvement

This is exactly what Cowry’s new AI Kitchen Designer app achieves. The first of its kind in an industry that has yet to reap the benefits of advanced AI and Big Data initiatives, the AI Kitchen Designer app will present the public with an innovative way of accomplishing in-home renovations. With its patented intuitive design technology, Cowry’s app will allow users to shop for, design and purchase kitchens in a streamlined and simplified manner.

A do-it-yourselfers and business savvy contractors dream, the AI Kitchen Designer app eliminates the need to pay for time-consuming design services or over-pay a local dealer for a kitchen product that has been marked up by 40%. By purchasing a kitchen through the Cowry app, users will pay as low as $999 USD for premium quality real wood cabinetry (based on standard 10’x10′ dimensions). That’s less than the cost of a standard sectional sofa.

Industry Predictions Growth Projections

Industry disrupting indeed. Cowry’s forward-thinking mentality in developing the AI Kitchen Designer app opens doors for businesses and homeowners alike who will be able to capitalize on both the affordability and the efficiency of this new design to purchase platform. But Cowry’s vision doesn’t stop there. The company intends to develop the app into a professional kitchen shopping platform where users can go to purchase products from hundreds of kitchen suppliers. Suppliers will in turn benefit from this arrangement by saving on marketing expenses and operating costs.
