Amazon’s biggest sale of the year ends tonight — here are the best Prime Day deals you can still buy

Updated as of July 17 at 7:26 p.m. ET: Amazon’s yearly retail holiday — Prime Day— has grown in scope over the last four years, offering bigger and better discounts than even those of Black Friday, a holiday best immortalized in nightly news clippings of people getting punched over impossibly cheap plasma TVs.

For 2018, the Prime Day deals are better than ever— and so is the invisible competition of the 100 million+ Prime users eligible for those discounts.

Amazon’s site crashed within minutes of kicking off Prime Day 2018— and took a surprisingly long time to cope with its traffic thereafter. For those of us who view Amazon as the internet’s equivalent of the unsinkable Titanic, this came both as a shock and an irritant, likely losing Amazon millions in sales.

Thankfully, if you couldn’t get to the best deals yesterday, rest easy since almost no one else could either. While some things have sold out — and we’re updating as fast as we can to reflect this below — most of the best value deals are still available.

Now through July 17, shop the master list below for the best deals with zero legwork of combing through thousands of deals yourself.

We’ve covered all the categories of interest: tech, home and kitchen, travel, and back-to-school necessities. We’ll be updating this on a rolling basis, so you may want to bookmark and check back in when you’re ready to shop. And as a reminder, you need to be a Prime member to take advantage of these deals. Amazon Prime Day’s Best Kitchen Deals

Amazon’s Prime Day megasale is still running through midnight PT tonight (July 17) and new deals are popping up all the time. We’ve seen a bunch more great kitchen deals go live today, from small appliances to cool new gadgets we think everyone will love. And all are on sale for great prices!

We worked with our partner website, BestReviews, to find not only the best deals but also high-quality products. BestReviews is a product review website that uses research and testing to find the best products for consumers. In fact, they’ve tested many of the following products and are confident in recommending them for you.

Check out our favorite kitchen products now:

Ninja Professional 72-Ounce Countertop Blender

You might expect to pay more than $80 for a Ninja blender, but not today. For just $49.99, you can snatch up a great value on the professional 72-ounce model that delivers 1,000 watts of extreme power. Do you like to make smoothies? It can easily do that. How about preparing foods for dinner dishes? Check! Or maybe you like slushy cold drinks. This blender does it all, from chopping to crushing.

Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker, Programmable

You don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a versatile kitchen appliance that prepares almost any recipe you can imagine. The spacious 6-quart Hamilton Beach programmable slow cooker already comes at a budget-friendly price but is offered today for additional savings. Prepare your favorite dish, program it to cook, then keep it warm. It’s your affordable, one-stop meal prep tool!

Circulon Acclaim Hard-Anodized Nonstick 13-Piece Cookware Set Missy

Want to outfit a kitchen in a hurry? The Circulon Acclaim 13-Piece Cookware Set is selling for just $199 right now. This hard-anodized, nonstick set with gleaming stainless handles (riveted and rubberized) includes three saucepans with tempered glass lids, three skillets, a crockpot, and a saute pan. If you’re just starting your home, you’ll be starting in luxury. If you’re a veteran cook replacing worn pots and pans, we think you’ll be happy with this practical yet gorgeous set.

Paderno World Cuisine 3-Blade Folding Vegetable Slicer/Spiralizer Pro

Spiral slicers are one of our favorite niche kitchen gadgets. Yes, they might have a very specific use, but we’ve found ourselves using it all the time. Make zoodles for pasta dishes, soups, salads, and more. Plus, the Paderno comes with three different blades for all different shaped slices. The Paderno is one of our favorite slicers and we think you’ll love it too.

ThermoPro Meat Thermometer

If you’re serious about cooking meat then you need a serious meat thermometer, and there’s none better than the ThermoPro. We love that you can keep one thermometer with you while moving around the house and still check the temp. BestReviews tested the ThermoPro while smoking meat and found it to be easy to use and accurate. Right now you can get it for just $41.99. If you don’t use a meat thermometer, there’s a greater risk that bacteria will be left in your food. Using a meat thermometer can, along with these other tips and tricks, help you avoid food poisoning!

Our editors are recommending these products because we love them, but just so you know, The Daily Meal may get a small portion of the sales from the links on this page.

KitchenAid’s Color Of The Year Is Finally Here

Sometimes, you need a bake-cation. As in, a mental getaway from the stress, scramble, and all-around chaos that is your life, where you can just zone out and methodically make cookies. Or scones. Or Oreogasm poke cakes. I’m not here to judge what you’re into.

But, what makes those treats even better is a setting that sets the mood, and KitchenAid‘s first-ever Color Of The Year achieves just that. Yes, getting in on Pantone’s territory, the appliance company is getting in on the business of declaring an “it” color, and its very first is inspired by the tropics. It’s called Bird of Paradise, a coral color that’s a little orange-ier and less delicate than the much-obsessed-over millennial pink.

As you can see in the video above, it works in pretty much any kitchen, as long as you’re not paying homage to the Simpsons with your decor. But even then, maybe.

Named after the tropical plant, the shade is perfect for summer. But really, it will make your kitchen look happy all year-round.

You can get it the color in an Artisan stand mixer (mini or full-sized), hand mixer, and mini food processor, as well as a blender. Right now, KitchenAid.com is selling both stand mixers and the blender — and the mixers are on sale for a serious discount. Like, call-your-friends-and-ask-if-everyone-wants-one serious.
