3-county burglary ring busted, stolen items recovered – WLNS

MARSHALL, Mich (WLNS) – If you live in Eaton, Barry or Calhoun counties and have recently had items stolen from your home during a break-in, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office may have good news for you.

Thursday night just after 8:00 p.m., deputies from the Pennfield Law Enforcement Team, working with the Eaton County Sheriff Department, executed a warrant at 19593 11 Mile Road after gathering additional information about the location of stolen property stemming from a string of home invasions from Eaton, Barry and Calhoun Counties.  

Deputies were able to recover one stolen compound bow, alcohols, household goods, various China dinnerware, wall art, fishing tackle, personal photographs and memorabilia, miscellaneous electronics and two heavy gun safes that had been broken into.  

Investigators from both Eaton and Calhoun County Sheriff Departments and the Michigan State Police (Wayland Post) are currently working on identifying the owners of this recovered property and attempting to locate property that this still missing.
