Bake yourself some teeny-tiny scones

Pearlman Associates

Nordic Ware, the family-owned Minnesota company that introduced Americans to Bundt pans, also makes a mini scone pan ($34.99) that’s terrific for baking two-bite scones. The 9-inch square, cast aluminum pan has inserts for 16 triangular scones, and all told holds a batter with 2 cups of flour. The dough can be spread or pressed in the pan — no rolling or shaping required — and rises to fill the space. When you’re not whipping up scones, it works just as well for brownies or cornbread. Available at Concord Cookware, 13 Walden St., Concord, 978-371-2286; Kitchen Outfitters, Acton Woods Plaza, 342 Great Road, Acton, 978-263-1955; and Kitchenwitch, 671 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, 617-524-6800.
