PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are looking for the rightful owners of a stash of stolen property discovered in Calhoun County.

Deputies from Calhoun and Eaton counties discovered the items as they searched a property in the 19000 block of 11 Mile Road in Pennfield Township, northeast of Battle Creek. That property was tied to a string of home invasions in Eaton, Barry and Calhoun counties.

Deputies discovered a stolen compound bow, alcohol, household items, dinnerware, wall art, fishing tackle, electronics and two gun safes that had been cracked. They also found personal photographs and memorabilia.

Investigators are trying to track down additional stolen property that is still missing, as well as return the recovered items to their owners.

Anyone with additional information about this case, or believes their property may have been found, is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 269.781.0880 or Silent Observer at 269.964.3888.
