Gibson Expands Mug Collection

Gibson Overseas, Inc. will expand its mug selection in its Forty One Madison showroom at the New York Tabletop Market. With hundreds of new designs, Gibson is offering mugs in reactive glaze finishes, vibrantly colored patterns and sentimental statement designs.

“Mugs are always bestsellers, just think about it, you use one every day,” said David Nicklin, Gibson’s newly appointed vp/marketing and licensing. “They are an easy way to make a personalized statement or give as a fun gift.”

“Mugs used to be a staple of 16-piece dinnerware sets,” Nicklin added. “However, consumers are increasingly viewing them as an individual purchase separate from sets. This has given rise to more personalized mug statements and increased sales opportunities for our retail partners.”
