How to get Nigella’s kitchen style for less

Since the return of her new BBC Two cooking show At My Table, Nigella Lawson has been the subject of much discussion in news outlets and on social media. While you may be mistaken for thinking this is solely because of the mouth-watering recipes she’s been serving up, Nigella has also been making headlines with her envy-inducing kitchenware.

From the see-through toaster to a copper KitchenAid and even the dressing gown Nigella wears when whipping up her emergency brownies, the At My Table kitchen is home to some seriously covetable products and eagle-eyed fans have taken to social media to speak about how much they want them!

We’ve tracked down some of the most stylish items in Nigella’s kitchen for you to buy and – as some of them don’t exactly come cheap – we’ve also found some budget alternatives. Thank us later.

Striped pasta bowl

Nigella showed off some lovely crockery in episode four of the series – namely this striped pasta bowl…

It’s from Habitat and costs £10.

Buy it here.

Rose gold cutlery

Rose gold is a colour that’s firmly on-trend in terms of homeware, as proven by Nigella’s cutlery on display in the show.

Nigella reportedly users Viners rose gold cutlery set, which can be purchased from Tesco for £94.99, but we reckon this £25 set from Asda would do the job just as well.

Casserole dish

Nigella uses a teal Le Creuset casserole dish in her kitchen, which costs between £144 and £176 depending on the size and can be bought here via John Lewis

Gorgeous though it is, we also love this similar dish in a midnight blue hue from Lakeland. At £59.99, there’s more than enough money spare to stock up on extra ingredients.

Alphabet mug

What kitchen would be complete without some personalised mugs?

Nigella’s is adorned with an N, obviously, and costs a reasonable £15 from Fortnum and Mason. For an even more budget-friendly alternative, we like this £10 monogrammed mug from Anthropologie.

See-through toaster

Frankly, this is one kitchen item we really want in our lives. How cool is Nigella’s transparent toaster?

Her’s is by Magimix and available from Amazon for £139, but cheaper versions are out there too – check out this £35 see-through toaster from Wilko

Bundt tins

Nigella gave us a glimpse into her cupboard full of kitchen knick-knacks and stacked high in there are an array of bundt tins which retail at $50 (around £38) on Nordicware

For a more low-cost version, you can opt for an £8 Bundt tin from Lakeland.

Batter bowl

Nigella used a Mason Cash batter bowl in episode two of At My Table which retails at £15.99 from Potters Cookshop.

We like this one, which retails for £12.50 from Tesco, too.

Guacamole bowl

Ok, so this isn’t the most essential item in Nigella’s kitchen, but it’s definitely novel.

The guacamole bowl and spoon Nigella used can be bought here from Amazon for £35. There doesn’t seem to be a cheaper alternative, unfortunately – buy we’ve got our eyes peeled.

Amazon

Dressing gown

Nigella’s gorgeous dressing gown had viewers obsessed, with so many of them asking the foodie where it’s from on social media, she directed them to Maude Tommy, where it retails for £65.

Unsurprisingly, the map print gown has since sold out, but the brand has said it may be getting more stock back before Christmas.

If you can’t wait until then, New Look has a similarly stylish nightwear offering for just £24.99. We think Nigella would approve.

Copper KitchenAid

Nigella’s copper coloured KitchenAid also sent viewers into a frenzy, so much so that the item sold out on John Lewis after Nigella used it on At My Table.

The £739.95 item is still unavailable to buy but we’re keeping an eye on it here, and as an alternative, Wilko is selling a copper stand mixer for just £60. Bargain!

Waffle Maker

Fans of Nigella were totally coveting the foodie’s stove-top waffle maker and we can see why, as her blueberry waffles turned out looking delicious.

Nigella’s is from Nordicware and can be bought from Amazon for £69.99, but Very.co.uk also stocks a version for just £24.99.
