Progress continues on Stock Plaza, a commercial development that eventually will have five multitenant buildings on the northwest corner of Collier Boulevard and Grand Lely Drive at the entrance to Stock Development’s Lely Resort residential communities.

Work has begun to build out the northern endcap of the building nearest to the center’s entrance off Grand Lely Drive. This last unit on the opposite end of the building anchored by Skillets breakfast-lunch cafe will be a Japanese restaurant, said Tony Mangione, a principal of Trinity Commercial Group.

This end unit next to Palumbo’s Pizzeria recently was leased by the same owner of Bamboo Wok, a Chinese restaurant that has operated for many years in the Publix-anchored Naples Lakes Village Center at Collier Boulevard and Rattlesnake Hammock Road in East Naples.

The new restaurant — Saki Japanese Kitchen —will offer hibachi dishes, sushi and bento boxes. It is targeted to open in October in Stock Plaza, said owner Chun Guang Zhao, who also plans to continue operating Bamboo Wok.

To the immediate north of Saki, NCH Healthcare System began construction this spring on NCH Healthcare Southeast a two-story multipurpose outpatient medical center that will include an urgent care center, offices for primary care physicians, a sleep lab, outpatient imaging and rehabilitation services. The 23,000-square-foot center is targeted to open in January, and the NCH facility across from Physicians Regional Medical Center-Collier Boulevard will close and be relocated there, said Zach Bostock, chief administrator for NCH Physician Group.

MassageLuXe and California Closets recently leased the units between Eco Cleaners and ATT in the front building anchored by Five Guys Burgers and Fries on the north end of the plaza.

Construction also will start soon on the plaza’s fourth and smallest building, which will be in front of Skillets and nearest to the Grand Lely-Collier Boulevard intersection, Mangione said.

“The northern 4,000-square-foot endcap was leased to Heartland Dental, and we are fielding offers for the premier 3,000-square-foot southern endcap, which is available,” he said.

A drive-thru restaurant is planned in the plaza’s fifth and final building, which will be erected to the north of the NCH center.

“We are fielding letters of intent on Building 300 and negotiating with a drive-thru tenant for the southern endcap,” Mangione said.
