Karma Café offers two-for-one lunch deal

LACONIA — Karma Café has just launched a two-for-one takeout lunch deal that will ease holiday stress for Laconia’s business community. Area businesses that place a lunch order three hours in advance of pick up, Monday through Friday, can choose up to ten entrees from Karma’s entire menu for the price of five. The café calls the promotion “We Must Be Crazy.”

In addition to the “We Must Be Crazy” two-for-one lunch, the café offers daily specials, gift certificates, and accommodations for private parties in the Karma Art Gallery adjoining the restaurant. The café is located at 72 Church St. and can be reached at 603-527-6000.

A project of Riverbank House, a long-term addiction recovery community for men, Karma Café is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and offers a full menu of breakfast skillets, burgers, salads, sandwiches, and traditional fare. The restaurant is one of several Riverbank House businesses that help men rebuild lives of dignity and purpose. All proceeds from the cafe go towards scholarships to help make long-term recovery support possible for families who could not otherwise afford it.

Randy Bartlett, founder of Riverbank House, said he tries to inspire a positive and optimistic outlook. “Too often the opioid epidemic is measured by tragedy and overdose deaths. At Riverbank House we want to focus on life and recovery. Karma Café gives us an opportunity to greet the public with a smile and to offer up an example that long-term recovery is not only possible, it can be joyous and delicious too!” Bartkett said.
