KitchenAid Releases New Mixer Color to Celebrate 100 Year Anniversary—And It Is SO PRETTY

Our biggest dilemma? Deciding between the two styles!

KitchenAid has been making products since 1919, and so in honor of its 100-year anniversary, they are launching (what else) a gorgeous, brand-new color.

If you have a tough time deciding between the 45 other colors already on the market, your choice is about to get even more complicated with the addition of Misty Blue, a soft blue-green color that pays homage to one of the very first KitchenAid Stand Mixer colors.

Starting September 4, you can purchase a Misty Blue Limited Edition Artisan 5-Quart Stand Mixer, as well as a 6-burner commercial range in Misty Blue ($7,699) on KitchenAid.com.

The mixers are available in two styles: One with a ceramic bowl with flex edge beater (retailing for $649.99), and one with a white-coated stainless steel bowl ($519.99).

Both models include limited edition features: a special, 100-year anniversary KitchenAid® logo, and a custom Power Hub cover celebrating KitchenAid’s centennial.

Another reason to mark your calendars for September 4? The first 20 people to buy a KitchenAid Stand Mixer in Misty Blue will also receive an exclusive, numbered ceramic bowl featuring a unique hobnob finish and flex-edge beater.

“Misty Blue brings back a classic style that will spark nostalgia across generations, while also continuing to feed inspiration in the kitchen,” said Nikki Lockett, U.S. Marketing Leader for KitchenAid Small Appliances. “This launch not only commemorates the brand’s past – but it also celebrates all the passionate home cooks who have inspired our innovation for the last 100 years.”

Misty Blue mixers will be sold on KitchenAid.com, and at fine retailers nationwide.
