KitchenAid Saluted This Month

Now on display at businesses throughout Berrien County are specially-decorated KitchenAid stand mixers. St. Joseph Today’s Amy Zapal tells us it’s a project called “Stand Mixers on Parade,” intended to thank the appliance maker for its support of the community as the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship takes place at Harbor Shores this month. You can find the stand mixers at businesses from Stevensville to St. Joe.

“They decorate the stand mixers in any way that they want, and KitchenAid’s only requirement is that it is somehow used, whether it’s through an auction or through a business, but that it somehow supports our local community,” Zapal said.


The proceeds will go to a non-profit chosen by each business. A list of participating locations can be seen below.

The participating locations are:

ARS Gallery, Aveline Art Gallery, Benton Harbor Public Library, Bit of Swiss, bread + bar, Caffe Tosi, Candlestick Maker, Chartreuse, Curious Kids’ Museum, Friends by Design, FuzzyButz, Gallery on the Alley, Grins of St. Joseph, Heritage Museum Cultural Center, Inn at Harbor Shores, Kilwins, Lana’s Boutique, Lazy Daisy, Mason Jar Café, Oh My Darlings, Olive Cart, OutCenter, Papa Vino’s, PurelyMichigan, Silver Harbor Brewing, Sister Lakes Brewing, South Shore Health and Racquet Club, Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra, St. Joseph Public Library, St. Joseph Today, State Street Stuff, The Livery, The Mendel Center, Third Coast Surf Shop.
