Le Peep Restaurant at College Boulevard and Metcalf Avenue has closed for good after approximately 30 years in operation.

A worker at the Lenexa restaurant, which remains open, confirmed today that the Overland Park operation’s final day was Sunday and that it would not reopen.

Le Peep serves breakfast, brunch and dinner, and is known for its ample pancakes, skillets and omelets.

The chain opened a location at 95th Street and Nall in Prairie Village in 2010, but closed that restaurant after just over a year. The Big Biscuit moved in shortly thereafter.

The Lenexa location, at 7936 Quivira, is open 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
