Men can do pretty, too

WHEN it comes to sprucing up the home, men typically leave that chore to their better half. Which, of course, isn’t to say that men are hopeless when it comes to aesthetics, and the recent collaboration between CrateBarrel ( and Groove Manila DJ Jason Soong, Chef JP Anglo and Booky founder Ben Wintle underscores this handsomely.

The three gentlemen curated their own lifestyle spaces with items from the global brand’s store at SM Aura Premier. It also has stores in SM Makati and SM Megamall.

Soong put together a Listening Room with CrateBarrel’s furniture and barware. Not surprisingly, Anglo went for a Kitchen Vignette with the brand’s wide collection of furniture and accessories that would make any kitchen and any sit-down dinner a visual feast. Meanwhile, Wintle showed that he’d like nothing more than to lounge around in rich, handsome leather furnishings.

CrateBarrel is an industry-leading omnichannel home furnishings specialty retailer, known for its exclusive designs, excellent value and superb customer service.

In addition to a direct-marketing division that services more than 90 countries, the company operates stores throughout the US and Canada, as well as franchise locations in Dubai, Mexico, Singapore, Turkey, Russia and the Philippines.

Working directly with European ateliers and factories, CrateBarrel was among the first to introduce affordable and contemporary tabletop products and kitchenwares to American consumers. Now, homemakers around these parts—be it women or men—are enjoying the same.
