New Asian fusion spot Bopbox debuts in Georgetown | Hoodline

If you’ve got Asian fusion on the mind, a recent opening is need-to-know. Located at 5633 Airport Way S in Georgetown, the new arrival is called Bopbox.

The newcomer offers a variety of meat- and vegetable-packed snacks, bop bowls, plates and skillets.

Try out the signature Medley Bibimbop bowl, which includes a grain of your choice, watercress, sautéed veggies, beets, caramelized kimchi, toasted sesame, a sunny-side up egg, and a protein for an extra charge. Skillets include steak, tofu, chicken and salmon options and come with grain and cabbage kimchi. You can see more of the menu here.

Bopbox has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.

Greg C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Nov. 16, wrote, “I was lucky enough to be one of the first few to visit this place in its inaugural days. I came with high expectations and left feeling 120 percent satisfied.”

Yelper John B. added, “Food is delicious, and they offer a lot of variety. I ate the baby back ribs, the kimchi fried rice, sukiyaki, pork katsu and kimchi pancake with bacon.”

Head on over to check it out: Bopbox is open from 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on Monday-Saturday. (It’s closed on Sunday.)
