New Top End KitchenAid Pro Line Blender Delivers Hot Soup In 5 Minutes

KitchenAid has entered the top end of the blender market with an all new Pro Line Blender that allows users to throw in raw vegetables and minutes later get soup warmed up to 75 degrees.

The unlock key to the premium product is the motor and the components that the new device is built from.

Under the bonnet is 3.5W of horsepower that is housed in a solid base which is needed as this device delivers 3 separate high-speed revs for the smoothest of smoothies as I found out last week.

A key element of this device is the patented asymmetric stainless-steel blade that not only does all the chopping it spins at such a speed that it heats soup via a “Thermal Control Jar” as it’s blending.

Users can blend and heat soups and sauces in only five minutes with the thermal control jar and an Adapti-Blend Soup recipe setting, while the outer jar remains cool.

The blade chops on four different planes, creating a dynamic vortex for smooth, consistent drinks and soups.porblendersilver New Top End KitchenAid Pro Line Blender Delivers Hot Soup In 5 Minutes

Another key feature which I really liked was the patented scraper which KitchenAid calls their Flex Edge Tamper.

This separate device let’s one push ingredients into the blending vortex, and scrapes the sides of the jar so everything is blended evenly.

The KitchenAid Pro Line Blender is the Companies top of the line offering, currently they are working with a leading Sydney restaurant to introduce a commercial version of this blender.

Another key element of this device is the easy-pour 2.5 litre easy-clean jug which one can easily tip in ingredients and then pour out a liquid.

The jug has a bit of a grippy surface for better handling and the lid stays well-sealed, plus it’s insulated as well.

Another big benefit is that the jug is dishwasher proof. However, you can pour hot water into the device turn on the blender, to give it a good clean.

As to other applications the KitchenAid Pro Line Blender can crush ice cubes with absolutely no problems, and pulverize nuts too.

The KitchenAid Pro Line Blender retails for $1,199 and is available at a variety of authorised Australian retailers. It comes with a ten-year KitchenAid warranty..

Heat oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook 5 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Add garlic; sauté 1 minute.

Add water, split peas, bay leaf and mustard; bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer 45 minutes or until split peas are tender, stirring occasionally and adding additional water if necessary.

Transfer soup to pitcher of KitchenAid Magnetic Drive Blender. Cover and blend on Soups/Sauces setting. Swirl a dollop of soured cream into each serving, if desired.

Variation: For a smoky flavour, add a dried chipotle pepper during the last 5 minutes of cooking. Remove the pepper before blending.
