The Greenville Chamber of Commerce has named Oil Vinegar as its August Small Business of the Month.

Chamber representatives presented company owners Veera and Joe Gaul with an award.

Oil Vinegar is a European-style shop offering gourmet packaged foods plus tableware, kitchen accessories and cookbooks.

The Gauls moved to Greenville from Rhode Island to launch their business. Vera is a chef with 22 years of experience at Johnson Wales University. Joe has a business and inventory-management background.

“We joined the Chamber in August of 2013 four months before the store opened, because we knew that the networking opportunities provided by the Chamber would be vital to our success, and it has been a great investment,” Joe Gaul said.

Their NOMA Square store is on Main Street and can be reached at 864-241-6689. The website is oilvinegar.com.
