Report: Silverware’s theft leaves two people facing larceny charges – Index

Two people are facing charges after a woman reported her silverware had disappeared, according to a report.

Bradley Ryan Juren, 28, and Tammy Jones Juren, 59, both of 220 Port Royal Drive, Ninety Six were arrested Tuesday and both charged with conspiracy, grand larceny greater than $2,000 and breach of trust, obtaining property under false tokens, value $2,000 or less.

On Aug. 7, Greenwood County deputies went to a Port Royal Drive residence and spoke with a woman who said she looked in her china closet drawer and noticed she had a sterling silver dinnerware set missing, along with several other pieces, the report said. She was able to provide a register number for the items, along with an estimated value.

Officers questioned a man about his involvement with the theft, but he denied it, saying that a friend who lived with him for some time could have stolen the items.
