Target Expands Hearth & Home Collection by Chip & Jo Gaines

More good news for Fixer Upper fans, especially those on a budget: Just two months after the much-anticipated launch of Chip Joanna Gaines’s Hearth Hand collection for Target, the store has rolled out a 140-item refresh of the line.

The new items push the boundaries of home decor into office and storage needs. In addition to tabletop accessories and kitchen towels, the expansion includes filing boxes and a mail organizer. The tabletop items on offer veer a bit from Magnolia’s trademark antique French look, with table linens and terra-cotta bowls, plates, and pitchers in graphic patterns. In keeping with the initial offering, the items are priced for smaller budgets, with products ranging from just 99 cents to $129.99.

The deeper lean into retail is especially of interest now that the Gainses have officially announced the end of the show that made them household names among a certain set of HGTV devotees. Between the Target line, collaborations with Loloi rugs and KILZ paints, and running the inn they renovated, it’s clear the designing duo will have enough to keep their creative plates full, though. For Target, the continued collaboration underscores the success the company has enjoyed with smart partnerships, including capsule collections by the likes of Lilly Pulitzer and Missoni—both of which sold out in record time—and indicates the room for such strategy in the home sector.

All Hearth Home items available in stores and at target.com.
