This Ghibli No Face Soy Sauce Bottle and Rice Scoop Will Have You Spirited Away To the Kitchen

You can be the hero of your very own Studio Ghibli adventure with these kitchen accessories. If you’re ready to take responsibility for the fate of your cooking into your own hand, then equip yourself with this soy sauce bottle and rice scoop shaped in the likeness of Spirited Away’s No Face.

Of course, if you’re not up for preparing food yourself, you can always gift these beautiful keepsakes to the chef of your heart’s desire. This kind of creepy little fellow will help to make delicious rice for years to come. If you need a place to rest your trusty chopsticks (or fork), there’s also chopstick rests in the forms of No Face, Otori-sama, mouse Boh, and a weird half-mouth, half- No Face that looks like something out of Berzerk.

Taking a look at the scoop, it’s utilitarian, with an all-black finish and at first glance, it might appear to be any one of a number of quality, nondescript rice scoops. However, staring back from the scoop is the haunting visage of No Face, which you can quickly cover up with loads of yummy rice.

The soy sauce bottle is a great accessory to the scoop. It’s a bit less low-key than the scoop, and with his crossed hands, he’ll be offering you soy sauce instead of gold coins. Honestly, that’s a lot better than coins if you’re hungry, because if you chomp down on gold coins, you’re going to be left with some pretty messed up teeth, and nobody wants that.

If you’re ready to get your Ghibli on in the kitchen, you don’t have long to wait. In September these items will be available from Donguri Kyowakoku, known for their varied and quality Studio Ghibli item selection. Make sure you grab a few to deck out your otaku kitchen! いただきます! (Itadakimasu!)
