This Retro KitchenAid Stand Mixer Has A Gorgeous Ceramic Hobnail Bowl You’ll Want To Display On Your Counter … – Twin Falls Times

There’s no denying it — retro is in. From apps that make your pictures and videos look vintage to a retro typewriter that works with your tablet and even an electric version of Volkswagen’s retro bus, out with the new and in with the old is definitely becoming a trend.

If you’re on board with all things vintage and retro, chances are you already have a few items of your own. But if you don’t have a stand mixer that fits into the theme, KitchenAid has just the thing for you. Their newest limited-edition heritage artisan model 5-qt mixer not only comes in a retro blue color, but also with a ceramic hobnail bowl!

Williams Sonoma

The mixer is a smaller version of KitchenAid’s commercial-size models, but has enough power and capacity to prepare large batches of cake batter or cookie dough without compromising counter space. It features 10 speeds from slow stirring to fast beating and is compatible with a number of optional attachments.

But even with all that, it’s the ceramic bowl that really makes it shine with retro glory. Simply put — this is the mixer grandma would have definitely wanted in her kitchen. There is one little downside, however — it’ll run you around $500 regardless of where you buy it, including Williams-Sonoma and directly from KitchenAid. If that’s a bit out of your price range, you can get the same mixer with a stainless steel bowl instead for $100 less.

If that’s still too much, Williams-Sonoma actually offers quite a few retro kitchen items for much less, including this seriously adorable two-slice toaster that comes in eight different colors for $149. You’ll also find vintage measuring spoons, tea kettles and more.

Will you be adding this new KitchenAid mixer to your collection?
